Fiction texts will be based on recognising features of the ‘mystery’ genre.
Non fiction will be based on identifying the organisational features of an explanation text.

Mathematics
Abacus topics include Addition/ Subtraction; Multiplication / Division; Percentages; Probability; Data; Angle; Square Numbers / Factors. Fridays will continue to be ’Problem Solving’ maths.

Science Topic

Interdependence on Organisms  Classifying living things; Skeletons ; Invertebrates; Habitats and Food Chains;

General Guidance  
Please continue to send children into school dressed smartly in their uniform. Any money should be sent in a named, sealed envelope, on a Monday (preferably).

Parent’s Role
Please continue to check your child’s homework diary and add comments if necessary. The diary will also contain other reminders for the week ahead. (P.E kit etc.)
