• SPORTS DAY CANCELLED - As you are aware an early decision had to be made with regards to cancelling sports day as early as possible. The decision was made based on the BBC long term forecast. We have now set a new date for the 24^th June at 1.15pm  - weather permitting. Both morning and afternoon sessions for  Nursery class will be cancelled - with all nursery children meeting staff at the Recreation ground.
• CLASS 3 EDUCATIONAL VISIT - On Monday 13^th June  children in class 3 will attend the Newport Wetlands. Please ensure that children are supplied with a packed lunch and relevant  wet weather gear.
• PTA SUMMER FETE - This is being held on Friday 17^th June at 3.15pm - Please come along and support us in this venture.
• TEACHING ASSISTANT POST - A part time job share  position  for two  consecutive days per week has become available within the school for September 2011. Candidates will be expected to have a minimum level 2 qualification together with relevant GCSE maths and English passes - hence showing good standards of both written and verbal communication. Successful candidates will also show a commitment to obtaining a level 3 qualification through continued study with a relevant external body. For further details please contact the school office.
