• CHELTENHAM SHOPPING TRIP - Please note that the bus will be leaving the surgery car par at 8.30am tomorrow morning.

• CHILDREN IN NEED APPEAL - a big thank you to all who supported us in this venture. A special thank you to year 6 girls Molly M, Molly H and Lauren R who sold all their cakes and made £35. The school raised a grand total of £252.00.

• PARENT ADVICE on SUPPORTING LEARNING AT HOME - this will be a repeat of the session provided in the summer term. Those parents who attended last time found the session useful. We hope that as many parents as possible will attend this event on the 22^nd November at 3.45 pm. The programme will consist of :

• BREAKFAST CLUB - Please be reminded that children attending this facility must be in school before 8.25 to receive a breakfast as the serving of meals will finish at 8.30am. Children will not be served after these times.

• CAR PARKING NOTICE - Please could Parents use the large car park adjacent to the Village Hall when bringing their children to and from School. We have received a number of complaints from people living in the pensioners bungalows that they have been blocked in and have missed important hospital appointments as a result. Your cooperation with this matter is most appreciated.

• PTA PAMPER /SHOPPING EVENING: Friday 25th November @ 7PM Machen Primary School. Refreshments for sale. Spray tans and Shellac nails - £10. All other treatments £5 which include reflexology, massage, eye brows/lashes, heated mitts, nails, make over's, hair curling/straightening provided by Iconic, the Pamper Haven and the Beauty Basement. Start your Christmas shopping with lovely craft, jewellery, gift and sweets stalls including Simply Christmas, The Body Shop and Forever Living plus loads more. Grab yourself a good read from our second hand book stall. (Any donations of books to the school office please).£3 entrance (includes a free goody bag) - tickets available from school office
• TECHNIQUEST - will visit school to conduct workshops with all of the junior classes on Monday. This is to support work in electricity
• CLASS 1 REPORTS - children in class 1 will receive reports at the end of this week
• HILSTON PARK PAYMENTS - We will need to collect all outstanding balances for this Year 5 and 6 trip by Monday of next week - thank you.
