• CLASS 6 ASSEMBLY - children in class 6 will be presenting their special class assembly on Friday, 27th May at 10.15 in the Emmanuel Chapel . The doors will be open from 9.30 onwards for the school council to serve fair trade refreshments prior to the event. Please feel free to attend.

• OPEN AFTERNOON - a reminder that the school will be holding a parent guidance session on curriculum matters on how to support learning at home on Tuesday 24^th at 3.30pm A creche and refreshments will be available to allow parents to attend . Please come along to support staff in this venture - many of our parents have requested such support and guidance and this your chance to learn some tricks of the trade. Advice will be given on :

•·         MATHS - helping your child with number and new methods

•·         READING - help your child to read at home with success

•·         ICT - Internet safety

• CAR BOOT SALE - this Sunday PTA will be holding a Car boot sale in the school yard starts at 10am - Car pitches still available.

• CREATIVE WEEK - Class 5 and 7 will be participating in a creative week led by a group from England . Activities will include a range of disciplines eg Art , Dance ,Drama and games. Parents are also invited to a presentation of their work on Friday afternoon - more details to follow.

• LIBRARY VISITS - these will take place for children in class 2 and 3 on Thursday 26^th May.

• SWIMMING GALA - this will take place on Thursday 26^th May at 1pm - staff will inform parents of all pupils involved in this event.

• ADMISSIONS - please be aware that the school has no control over the admission of pupils to school. Those parents who wish to ask about the process should contact the LEA admissions officer Mrs Andrea West 01443 864870.
