• SPONSORED OBSTACLE EVENT FOR NSPCC - great big thanks to everyone who participated in this event.  The pupils have raised a staggering £1165.00 which is very pleasing. Well done everyone for a superb effort!
• HARVEST FESTIVAL - again may I take this opportunity to thank the parents and pupils for this well supported event. The Salvation Army were very impressed with the amount of food donated for this purpose and wish to extend their thanks for your overwhelming support. A big thank you to the teachers also who prepared the pupils well in their presentations during this special assembly.
• PTA DISCO - we would like to extend our thanks to the PTA who once again organised end of term discos for both the children in Key stage 2 and the foundation phase. Both events were well attended and thoroughly enjoyed. Funds raised will allow us to go ahead with our desire to lease a mobile suite of laptops to support children in their learning - hopefully before Christmas.
• SCHOOL BUILDING IMPROVEMENTS- the foundation phase hall will be decorated during the half term. Plans are also afoot to refurbish the lower school toilets during the academic year. Both developments will undoubtedly improve facilities within our school.
• CROSSING PATROL LADY - Mrs Parrish our new school patrol officer has settled into her new job well. Please ensure that children crossing the main road use this safe place to cross even when accompanied by parents to encourage the children to cross this dangerous road safely.
• HILSTON PARK - please could everyone whose child is attending this event pay the first instalment of £50.00 by Monday, 31^st October.
• FILL A MATCHBOX - please can you fill your matchbox over half term with as many items as possible.  Write your name and class on the back of the box and attach your £1.  Make a list of everything that is and bring it back to school after half term with your box. Prizes for KS1 and KS2. Thanks once again for supporting the PTA.
