• PTA Book fair and Rock Shop: These two stalls will be open during parents evening on Monday through Wednesday from 3 - 6pm. We also have for sale a have a lovely selection of fossils and rocks. Do come and have a browse.

• Headbands - Please may I take this opportunity to remind children that hard plastic Headbands with comb like teeth on them are not suitable for school and should not be worn.
•         Soccer School for GirlsOn Tuesday November 8^th at 1pm – Rob Bailey  from sports Development will be doing a taster session for Year 4, Year 5 and 6 girls (Mr Jeffreys / Miss Evans / Mrs Hallett’s class) on the school yard. Please ensure they bring their PE outdoor kit for this session.

• Fill a matchbox: Hope you have enjoyed filling your matchboxes over half term. Please can you return your filled matchboxes by Monday 7^thNovember with name, class and £1 cello taped to the box. Don't forget to include a list of all the items.

• PTA Autumn Disco Profit: We have achieved the biggest ever profit from the school discos of £390. Thanks to everyone for supporting this event and especially to those in the KS2 for eating so many hotdogs!!

• Parents Evenings - These are being held next week for Classes 2,3,4,5,6 and 7 - please refer to your individual appointment time with your class teacher. Class 1 will have a separate letter for their parent consultation dates.

• RECEPTION /NURSERY REPORTS - Children in nursery and reception will be receiving a report on Baseline assessments - CDAP (Child Development Assessment Profile). These reports will contain statements about your child's performance on entry. These performance statements will also be accompanied by an age related score for your child's performance. These scores are set by the Welsh Assembly Government and are used to assess pupil Baselines across the whole of Wales. It will also be used to measure the value added of each school. Please remember that each child's performance will be different and that each child develops at different stages. If you are concerned about any aspect of the report please speak to the class teacher or headteacher.
