- HEADLICE DROP IN CLINIC – The school nurse will be holding a drop in session in school to discuss with all parents their concerns about head lice. The session will be at 2.30pm- Tuesday, 12th April. We hope that as many parents as possible attend this event. A register of attendees will be taken.
- Early Years DRINKS at Break time – Children in classes 1 and 2 will no longer need to bring in a school drink for morning and afternoon breaks. The school will offer a drink of milk or water to children during these times instead. This does not affect children’s drinks at lunchtime with their packed lunches. However, we recommend that all parents check the sugar content in lunchtime drinks which has become a high risk to increased levels of tooth decay amongst young children.
- PTA Pamper Evening - Well done to everyone who attended and helped at this event. A big thank you to Mrs Willetts and Mrs Hoare for organising this night. Mrs Leanne Willetts informs me that a £450.00 profit was raised – a magnificent achievement. Many thanks for all your support and hard work!
- Spring Fete/ PTA Balloon Release - Spring Fete 3.15pm in the junior hall and Balloon Release in main yard 4.30pm – Wednesday 13th April. Stalls include games, cakes, hotdogs, sweets, games, free face painting, free craft activities, jewellery and new stock at the rock shop. Extra forms for entry to the balloon race are available from the school office.
- Lateness and Absence- A reminder to all parents about our policy. Please ensure that all parents telephone the school by 10am if your child is absent. A message can be left on our system. Such messages can also be sent via email -

. Once again may I take this opportunity to remind all parents that children who are late should report to the school office - your full cooperation with these matters is most appreciated?
- Tesco Vouchers -The school has been able to purchase a range of equipment using these vouchers in the past and we hope that once again parents and friends of the school will help to collect as many as possible.
- Class 6 to visit Caerleon- Children in class 6 will be going to Caerleon museum on Friday 15th April. Please ensure that children attending this event where suitable clothing.
- Class 3 Assembly. – The class assembly for children in Mrs Lawlor’s class will be held in the Emmanuel Chapel at 10.15am. A coffee morning for parents will be held in the chapel refractory before the service starting at 9.30 – please feel free to join us for a Fair trade coffee or tea courtesy of the PTA and school council.
- School Photographer -The school Photographer will be in on the 18th May to take individual portraits of children. After listening to parents requests we are trying out a new company this year.
