- KEY STAGE 2 PRODUCTIONS of JOSEPH - Please note the new start time is 5.30pm on both nights.
- YEAR 6 LEAVERS - children will go to Bowlplex in Nantgarw and have a meal at Mc Donalds courtesy of the PTA,on Thursday 14th July during the school day.
- RELIEF KITCHEN STAFF - Breakfast club are looking to recruit a relief Kitchen person 8 - 9 am . Please contact Dawn Jones via the school office for more information.
- PTA SUCCESS - I would like to take this opportunity to once again thank all members of the PTA for their continued hard work throughout the year. Recent events include:
- PTA CAR BOOT SALE - £50
- SUMMER FETE - £700
- MACHEN SHOW CAKE STALL - £140
- We would like to offer an invitation to any new parents to support us in activities next year.
- MUSICAL SUCCESS - Congratulations to 3 boys in our brass group who have all passed recent examinations . Two boys in Class 6 - Sam Hughes and Daniel Bray have achieved their grade 1 certificate with Sam achieving a distinction . In class 7 , a distinction was also achieved by Joe Kendall who passed his grade 5 in the euphonium - which is a remarkable achievement and one of very few in the country to do so. All 3 boys are active members of the BTM Brass Band. Well done everyone and keep up the hard work
- SPORTING SUCCESS - Congratulations to Tomos Workman ,who has played rugby Under 11s for both the District and South East Wales squad this year. He was presented with his Rhymney Valley Junior cap this week and was also winner of the Forward of the Year cup. We wish Tom every success as he moves onto secondary school rugby in September.
