- CLASS 5 ASSEMBLY - children in class 5 will be presenting their special class assembly on Friday 20th May at 10.15 in Emmanuel Chapel. The doors will be open from 9.30 onwards for the school council will serve fair trade refreshments prior to the event. Please feel free to attend.
- OPEN AFTERNOON - a reminder that the school will be holding a parent guidance session on curriculum matters on how to support learning at home. A crèche and refreshments will be available to allow parents to attend .This will be held on Tuesday 24th May at 3.35 pm- please see Flyer out soon.
- COATS IN WET WEATHER - a number of children are coming to school without suitable coats for inclement weather. Please can I remind children and parents that coats should be brought to school as the weather is still showery during this time of the year.
- LUNCH MONEY- please could parents ensure that all lunch money is sent into school on a Monday morning and not on a daily basis. Many thanks.
- PHOTOGRAPHER IN SCHOOL - school photographer will be in school next Wednesday 18thMay.Anyone wishing to have sibling photographed with pupils should arrive by 8.45am and report to the school office.
- TESCO VOUCHERS- if anyone has any of these vouchers at home, please could you send them to school on Monday. Thanks.
- ONLINE SAFETY - The school is aware that children are making use of the internet more and more. In order to be as safe as possible the local authority has produced a safety guide for parents .Children in upper Key stage 2 will receive this booklet for parents this week I have also been advised by a parent that face book users can protect themselves further by using an online security device called CEOP. The application is free and gives you immediate access to internet safety advice as well as being able to report any suspicions you may have. - CROSS COUNTRY RUNNING COMPETITION - well done to all those 39 children who took part in this competition. There were some notable individual achievements which will be celebrated in our whole school assembly.
